Senate Republicans Back Push For President-Elect Biden To Get Intelligence Briefings

Even as many Senate Republicans refuse to recognize President-elect Joe Biden's win, they signaled support to assistance to his transition team in the form of intelligence briefings.

After COVID Diagnosis, Nearly 1 In 5 Are Diagnosed With Mental Disorder

Researchers have found that people recovering from COVID-19 are more likely to be diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder such as anxiety, depression or insomnia within three months of their illness from the virus.

Those recovering from COVID-19 were more likely than other groups of patients to be diagnosed with a mental disorder within three months. The longevity of such problems is not yet clear.

States Demand Refunds For Unemployment Money Paid In Error

Stephen Ordway inside the mill building in Dover, N.H., where his restaurant Dos Mexican Eats is located. In late July, the state told him he had to return nearly $12,000 in unemployment benefits.

In New Hampshire, more than 10,000 people who collected unemployment during the pandemic have received notices that they weren't entitled to benefits and had to return the money.

"I think it's terrible when we can't know the results of an election the night of the election in a modern-day age of computers," Trump said. But the vote totals are never fully counted the same day.

Powerful Typhoon Goni Slams The Philippines, Leaving At Least 10 Dead And 3 Missing

Typhoon Goni downed electric posts in Tabaco, Albay province, in addition to causing deadly flooding and storm surge when it struck the Philippines on Sunday.

The storm, with maximum wind speeds that made it the most powerful of the year, made landfall on the populous island of Luzon on Sunday and is weakening as it heads toward Vietnam.
